Cause a Woman’s body has special needs and it’s more delicate physically with its own unique symmetry + balance + speed + energetic super powers that have nothing to do with how much you can squat and bench.
HINT: We didn’t come to pull the cart - we’re here to recreate it!
Once you sustain an injury, the mental/emotional biography (story) of events is imprinted into your biology (body) - sometimes lasting a lifetime!
Women’s bodies require a certain grace, respect and deeper understanding… people call it “complicated” I say intelligent/mystical AF.
I’ve experienced enough in 20 years as a women’s trainer to know how avoidable this whole injury scenario is.
So my goal is to give you the skills + tools you need to rock your best life in a body that facilitates FUN on every level you can imagine in your wild heart.
And it’s why I always start classes/sessions with HIP MOBILITY MAGICK:
Your hips are the largest “space” in your body and act like a steering wheel for this “ship” moving you through space + time… do you know where you’re energy is directed?
It matters (cause it’s a magnet) and you need to be making constant adjustments based on new + incoming information.
Can you imagine driving without a steering wheel? Impossible - crash!
In the West, dance is not a celebrated, cultural tradition taught and practiced regularly in family groups like Africa, Mexico + S America.
I can’t even tell you how many women I work with who think they “aren’t coordinated” and “can’t dance” … because they’re never taught full range of motion + command of their pelvis (hip bones).
FULL RANGE OF MOTION at the hips helps with:
Healthy digestion, releasing “feel good” neurotransmitters like Serotonin which combat stress, anxiety + depression… and dissolving heavy, toxic emotional energy build up in the pelvic “space” from negative social interaction.
