The lunchroom at my middle school in Sitka, Alaska smells exactly the same as it did in 1995.

Same disco ball, roller skate full body rush gliding around playing whiplash on 8 wheels to "Tiffany" songs falling in love with the "New Kids on the Block."

Flashing back to the 8th grade dance in the lunchroom. We spent 2 weeks at my friend Melissa's house with tapes, cds and two boom boxes to creating an original soundtrack... it was my first slow dance and it was... awkward! But the music was good. 😎🔥

I'm back in the lunchroom last week and I'm having a peak life moment with my friend Tara who's launching a weight loss business.
